Injured Dog - Banepa

A street dog attacked with sharp weapon in Banepa-6, Budol.

NAWRC staff Mr. Sujan Bhandari witnessed this dog today morning at gas distributor warehouse at Budol, Banepa-6. When we first saw him, he was afraid of us and this is common symptom after human attack in animals. We tried our best to find the culprit to undergo legal actions, but we were late and unknown who did this.

Community are still to raise with awareness about animal's suffering and legal provisions about "Prevention to animal cruelty in Nepal". We have no option than bringing the injured dog in our OT and suture his wounds for better healing. Proper painkiller, antibiotics and skin healing sprays are applied for the relief and he will be in our close supervision for few more days, before we release him back to his own area. Thank you Dr Ganesh Banjara for suturing his wounds and advising medicines for his treatment.

We are in dire need of your support to establish infrastructures and funds to operate our program smoothly and efficiently. Sponsor his treatment or food during his stay at NAWRC. For donation Click Here!
